Professional Experience
Four-year student in the Career Academy of Biotechnology and Medical Research. Earned a Bitechnician's Assistand Credential upon graduation and have applied those skills to a University level in the Swanson Lab since January of 2023.
Teaching
TA for UF's Emergency Medical Responder Course since Summer of 2023. Gained experience teaching groups of students about important life-saving skills and procedures. Currently training for the Lead TA position where I will be responsible for the output and direction of each Lab portion of the course.
Service
Group leader for UF's Pre-Health Scholars Service Groups. Organize and participate in monthly service activities in correspondence with a specific theme. Forged valuable partnerships with many community organizations such as Peaceful Paths, Gainesville Rabbit Rescue, Project Downtown, and more.
